Services Covered Under This Agreement

These terms govern the rental and servicing of portable sanitation equipment by Budget Toilet Rentals Pros in Sacramento. Covered equipment includes standard porta johns, ADA wheelchair accessible units, deluxe flushable porta potties, restroom trailers, handwashing stations, and urinal stations. Services also include delivery, placement, weekly pump-out, and winterization for cold climates.

Excluded from this agreement are septic system pumping, dumpster rental, and any work requiring separate permits beyond standard portable toilet placement. Customers must comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51 for construction site sanitation and local zoning rules for unit placement. The renter is responsible for providing level ground within 10 feet of a drivable surface for delivery truck placement. Any scope changes, such as adding units or changing delivery dates, require written approval and may affect pricing.

Appointment Scheduling and Cancellation Policy

Rental appointments are scheduled based on unit availability and delivery truck routing. Budget Toilet Rentals Pros requires a minimum 48-hour lead time for standard deliveries. Customers must provide clear site access and confirm the placement location before the delivery window, which typically spans 2–4 hours.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery may incur a fee equal to 50% of the rental cost. Changes to the rental period, unit type, or quantity must be approved at least 48 hours in advance. If the customer fails to provide access or cancels on the delivery day, the full rental amount may be charged. Budget Toilet Rentals Pros reserves the right to cancel or reschedule due to weather, road conditions, or safety concerns without penalty.

Estimates and Payment Terms

Quotes provided by Budget Toilet Rentals Pros are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. Each estimate includes the rental rate, delivery fee, pump-out service, and applicable taxes. Payment is due at the time of delivery for short-term rentals and on the first of each month for long-term monthly agreements.

If the scope of work changes after the quote is accepted such as adding a handwashing station or upgrading to a deluxe flushable unit the customer must approve a revised estimate before any changes are made. Late payments may result in a 5% fee on the outstanding balance. Budget Toilet Rentals Pros accepts credit cards, cash, and checks. Returned checks incur a $35 processing fee.

Workmanship and Equipment Warranty

Budget Toilet Rentals Pros warrants that all portable toilet units are delivered in clean, working condition with a full holding tank treatment of biocide and deodorizer. The company stands behind the mechanical function of flushable units, door latches, and hand sanitizer dispensers for the duration of the rental period.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by vandalism, misuse, or failure to follow operational rules such as locking the unit overnight or placing it on level ground. If a unit develops a leak or mechanical issue, Budget Toilet Rentals Pros will replace or repair it within 24 hours of notification. Coverage is void if the renter attempts unauthorized repairs or modifications. Standard units have a 60-gallon holding tank; weekly pump-out is required to maintain warranty coverage.

Limitation of Liability

Budget Toilet Rentals Pros’ liability is limited to the total cost of the rental service provided. The company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the rented equipment. This includes claims related to odor complaints, overflowing waste tanks, or unit placement that does not meet ADA accessibility requirements if the customer selected the location.

The renter assumes responsibility for ensuring the placement site complies with local zoning, fire code clearances, and EPA waste disposal regulations. Budget Toilet Rentals Pros is not responsible for pre-existing conditions such as uneven terrain, underground utilities, or inadequate lighting at the site. Any claims must be reported in writing within 48 hours of the incident. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by California law.
